Digital Finance

The Digital Finance Apprenticeship from Future LDN is designed to help apprentices to develop the fundamental skills required to be effective in a finance team. During the course of the programme, Apprentices become proficient in using relevant software for their role, including accounting software and common applications such as spreadsheets, word processing software and presentation software. Apprentices undertaking this pathway will learn the digital skills required to effectively manage, present and analyse financial information. There is a strong focus on dealing effectively and professionally with clients. Like all of our qualifications, Apprentices also receive support to develop core skills such as effective workplace communication, information security management, and customer care.

Productivity Software for Finance

Modern software used for productivity has the potential to completely change the way a business operates. This module delivers advanced training to Finance Apprentices covering common accounting packages such as Sage, Xero, and Quickbooks. It also develops Apprentice's skills in using Email, Word Processing, Spreadsheet, and Presentation Software.

Personal & Business Growth

Effective employees are aware of their own growth, as well as the development and growth of the business that they are working in. The Digital Finance Apprenticeship teaches learners to work effectively and professionally, being aware of their responsibilities and contributing to innovation & business process development.

System Security & Confidentiality

Apprentices need to develop a keen awareness of the security risks encountered by businesses in the digital age. This module will develop the apprentice's knowledge of Data Protection & Security of Customer Data, Management of Confidential Information. Work is also done to consider systems which might be used to Improve Data Security.

Customer Care & Communication

Digital Finance Apprentices develop a strong understanding of the importance of communicating effectively and the need for providing effective customer service to the common customers of a finance team - including suppliers, customers, and internal contacts. Using appropriate communication tools, Apprentices develop the skills to manage & develop relationships.

At the outset of the Apprenticeship, the manager, learner and Learning and Development Specialist will decide on a project for the Apprentice to manage which will increase efficiency in the organisation. The Apprentice will learn and apply relevant project management techniques to the project as they undertake it. Unless otherwise specified, Apprentices will be supported to work according to Agile project management methodologies. The Apprentice will be supported in using digital tools including Trello, Excel & Presentation Software to plan all aspects of the project including budget forecasting & monitoring.

The Digital Client Services Apprenticeship from Future LDN is designed with client facing apprentices in mind. Apprentices undertaking this pathway will learn critical skills relating to productivity software as well as receiving a grounding in the effective use of CRM systems and databases. There is a strong focus on dealing effectively and professionally with clients. Like all of our qualifications, Apprentices will also receive support to develop core skills such as effective workplace communication, information security management and customer care.
